But is it Art?

Join us for an exciting show of BAD ART! Kitsch?  Junk?  OMG? Celebrate April Fool’s Day!

Saturday, April 1, 2017

10:00AM-5:00PM – 2nd floor of Keller’s Plaza

107 South Putnam Street, Williamston MI 48895

We are showing art in support and endorsement of BAD ART as a genre, meaning art created in questionable taste and of vague cultural value.

Critics are saying, “The subject is compelling, but the art’s not good.”

Extremely light refreshments served  *  We invite everyone to vote on their favorites too!

Join us for a workshop to create your own bad painting at NOON    All supplies provided — $5.00 fee

Take home your own homage to the greats of history; Thomas Kinkade, LeRoy Neiman, Bob Ross, Emmett Kelly and Red Skelton

Sponsored by Carol Lacca & Jane Reiter of ART (artistic renegades triumph!) in cooperation with Peculiar Perspectives, The Party Shoppe, and Michigan Lighthouse Gallery of Keller’s Plaza

NOTE:  This exhibit is not wheelchair accessible–no elevator provided.

  1. This sounds like such fun, especially on April 1st. If I was in Michigan, I would be attending and making a very bad painting just for the joy of it!
