Festival of Trees

56 trees decorated for the holiday season–WOW! Both groups and individuals offer up a fabulous array of specially designed trees for the historic Turner Dodge House in Old Town.  I am showing a Zentangle-inspired tabletop tree with tangled star paper ornaments.

Trees are displayed (and some are for sale!) until January 3, 2016.  All sales of trees benefits the House (Turner Dodge), 100 East North Street, Lansing, Michigan.    Admission is $5.00 and kids under 12 are free.  Call 517.483.4220 for more information.

Senior Discovery Group on November 11th

I enjoyed meeting with the seniors at Allen Neighborhood Center ANC Wednesday morning. I presented the basics of Zentangle for a most jovial and enthusiastic group! Everyone completed a tile and we explored four Zentangle patterns. Our tangle session was a wonderful way to start the day! The group meets each Wednesday morning, 10am-noon, for various topics of discussion and discovery. I highly recommend meeting with them so contact their cheerful coordinator, Jen Strom. Thanks to the Senior Discovery Group–keep tangling!B&Wquilt

It is a wonderful experience to have my artwork showing at the Public Art Gallery in the City of East Lansing Hannah Community Center (PAG) this month! After working all year on “Sprout,” I am happy to see this body of work up on the walls. I focus on imagination, inspiration and gleeful creative growth! Please check it out this month–the exhibit is on display through December 2nd. The Gallery is on the second floor and the building is accessible, with free parking.Blossom
