I had a blast with participants yesterday afternoon at Michigan State University’s Community Music School! The new tanglers did a great job! Many thanks to Rhonda Buckley for hosting my Zentangle demonstration!

Doodling is different than Zentangle in some ways;
1. No goal in mind
4. Used as a distraction
5. Done while doing something else
6. Getting lost in a daydream
2. Done with thought
5. Art making
6. Attention in the moment
7. Helpful activity
8. Involves ritual
Just something to consider…
I will be tangling at Impression 5 Museum today, NOON-3PM–come join in the fun! http://www.impression5.org/
Just an interesting viewpoint of an independent artist…
